Could They Be Any Cuter

Could They Be Any Cuter

I downloaded these pics and started to set up this page a few months ago...and forgot about it.  But since it's linked by my other blog I thought I should at least add something here about my little guys!

Holden is 3 and the leader of the pack.  He was born WITH Down Syndrome...but that does not define who he is...unless, of course, DS is all about dancing and smiling and singing and bringing joy to life.  Mom LeeAnne could not be prouder of her son!!!  At birth we maybe had doubts about what he wouldn't do...but now all we do is stand amazed at all he DOES do.  He loves life...starts each day with smiles and dancing...cheers people up with his smile.  What's not to love about this very special boy.

A year-and-a-half later, Steve and Enith brought Orlando into our lives...and nothing's been the same since.  His dark, expressive eyes just make me want to melt.  He's a bit of a drama king sometimes...throwing his hands in the air and looking like he's "pronouncing" something instead of announcing it.  Ever since he learned he could run he's been hard to slow down.  He did have hair down past his shoulders earlier this year...till his dad decided it was time for a haircut.

Luke came into our lives via his mommy falling in love with our Andy.  While Andy is not his "biological" father, he is Luke's dad in every other way...and our grandson too!  Luke is our "godzilla" grandson...the one that will tower over the others in days to come.  He, too, has beautifully expressive eyes and a smile that you can't help but respond to.  He turned one in May.

And last, but not least (and soon not to be last any more)...Baby Roman.  This one smiles with his eyes... giggles at his daddy...clings to his mommy (as all little guys should do)...and is a perfect compliment to brother Orlando and cousins Holden and Luke.

So we just keep counting our blessings...and will be adding a new blessing sometime in late June or early July of 2011 when Andy and Jen become parents again.
